4to, contemporary limp vellum rebacked, spine renewed in style, a good copy (few foxing, mostly in prelim. leaves amd last quire), marginal repair on leaf E1. Pp. (10), 108, (1 of errata, verso blank), with several woodcut figures and 3 volvelles, at pp. 42, 45 and 100 (this last still to be cut and placed). First edition of this important work on cosmography, also widely dealing with sea tide. Tebalducci also wrote a treatise on rivers entitled "Tiberiade", where he confuted the theory by Bartolo da Sassoferrato on the way to divide flooded lands into different kinds.
